Christian Jewelry For Women – Keep Asking God

  • Posted on December 9, 2012 at 8:27 am

Sometimes just like a kid does we need to continue asking God for our needs.

The New International Version:

(Matthew 7:7) “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Sometimes in life you try something and the first try didn’t work out like you had hoped for and you may get kinda discouraged. You may be trying out a new business and find that you are struggling with your finances. Have you found a new love in your life and the relationship is starting to disappoint you? Have you been suffering with some form of illness? Have you ever heard of the saying “when one door closes another door opens?”

One thing for sure is that God honors perseverance. You may have some “no’s” for now, because on your way to the “yes” you will come across those “no’s”. Remember the final answer is not the closed door all that means is to keep going!

One thing for sure is it will come to pass if God promised it. How do we get or inherit those promises of God? Faith and Patience. In the picture of your life this is where patience and perseverance comes in. Don’t quit just because you don’t have results right away. Also, this is where trust comes in. Trust in God.

Go forward with it! Whatever it is. Rise up and press forward is what you need to do.

Believe. Hope. Endure it. Press On!

Keep asking God. If it is in His word, God promised it, then realize God is always faithful to His word! You can choose to believe in God’s word!

RECEIVE IT! Open your arms and receive it. In your mind, body, and spirit!

May God Bless You and Your Family!

Best Wishes to You,

Mary

Do You Have a Tomorrow?

  • Posted on December 2, 2012 at 7:09 am

We don’t know for sure if we have a tomorrow or not. That is not a guarantee. There are many people that die each and every day.

Proverbs 27:1   “Do no boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”

Everyday is a blessing from God. Each and every day is a special gift from God. Today if  you look for it you will notice that you are being blessed by God. He has gone ahead of you and has set up the right opportunities and the right connections that you need. God has already ordered blessings for you!

The food you eat is a blessing. The water you drink is a blessing. The sunshine that comes from our sun is a blessing from God. If you woke up today with enough food to eat, water to drink, clothes to wear, then you have been blessed because there is a lot of people in this world that don’t have that at all. God is blessing you every day!

We don’t know if we have tomorrow for sure. You can be broken down and defeated and your life will stay that way. Or, you can live each moment with love, life, laughter, and blessings!

See all your opportunities that come along as a gift from God. Change your words. Instead of saying, “I have to wash the car today,” to “I get to wash the car today.” Some people don’t have a car to wash. Instead of saying “I have to take care of my parent today,” say “I have the honor and privilege of taking care of my parent today.” When you count your blessings you will notice that God will multiply your blessings for the rest of you life.

If you are having a problem in your life ask God to strengthen you with His joy and ask Him to fill you with His peace.

Keep your mind focused on Jesus. All will be okay.

May God Bless You!

Mary

The Word Became Flesh

  • Posted on November 17, 2012 at 8:39 pm

Jesus became flesh and lived among us. With the Christmas season soon approaching it is our time to remember our Lord and Savior Jesus! Below is a simple video.

(John 1:14) NIV

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This is the King James Version of the verse.

(John 1:14) KJV

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Best of Wishes to You!

Wedding Ring

  • Posted on November 14, 2012 at 10:24 pm

Plan on getting married? A Christian wedding ring symbolizes, love and honor, loyalty, commitment. Did you know the Christian faith has included the  exchange of wedding bands for like 1200 years. Actually, for Christians there is no reference in the Bible that it is required for them to use rings to get married. Rings are just what is used. The ring finger is the fourth finger (or digit) on our hand.

The placement of the ring is connected to the heart. The reason the ring is worn on the left ring finger is because there is a vein in the left ring finger that is directly related to the heart. It is referred to as the vena amoris.  Connected to the heart a ring is a symbol of love.

The Christian Cross

  • Posted on November 12, 2012 at 11:14 am

It doesn’t matter whether you are a woman, a man, a teenager, or a child everyone likes to wear the Christian cross. Even people who are not religious will wear a cross. The Christian wears the cross to remind us of Jesus with fondness and devotion to our faith and the sacrifice he made for us. He is our Lord and Savior.

The cross also represents the love Jesus had for us. When a Christian wears the cross we generally wear it to let people know that we are of Christian faith. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Baptist, Pentecostal, or any other Christian religion. The cross is our most beloved symbol of Christianity.

The cross has been used in all sorts of jewelry. We have the regular necklace or chain cross. Then there are earrings with crosses on them too! Bracelets and pendants are now made with crosses. Jewelry is worn as a reflection of who we are sometimes.

When a cross is handed down from mother to daughter or father to son it is really a most treasured piece of jewelry. It is as if the love for our Lord Jesus is passed along with it.

Best Wishes to You!

Guardian Angels

  • Posted on November 3, 2012 at 1:49 pm

We have been told that we have guardian angels. That is one reason why we love to wear and get guardian angel necklaces and pendants. A guardian angel is known for watching over us and protects us and guides us through our life. As, a Christian I do believe this is true because of the angels mentioned in the Bible.

When teaching children about angels it is best to let them know that God is first in their life. Angels do not replace God. Sometimes people start to worship the angel instead of God. In the Bible it is mentioned that we do have ministering angels that do watch over us in different areas of our lives.

Children seem to have a closer connection with angels than adults. Children seem to be more open to angels in the belief and even have conversations with their guardian angel. This is a belief held by many different religions not just the Christian belief.

Little girls during Halloween and during Christmas season will dress up as angels. I guess this is because it has always seemed a feminine role when children are young. In the bible there is only mention of men as angels and the two that are referenced to are Michael and Gabriel.

In Matthew 18:10 Jesus said “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little one of these little ones, for I say unto you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in Heaven.” Children do have an angel that watches over them. So do we.

Christian Jewelry For Your Wife

  • Posted on November 3, 2012 at 1:47 pm

Men know that women love to wear jewelry. Women pick out their jewelry just like they do their clothes. Very carefully matching the jewelry just right. Our clothes match and our jewelry matches our clothes. Jewelry is great for a woman for any occasion. Age if of no concern women of all ages love jewelry.

Our Christian jewelry is very important to a woman because of the connection to Jesus that we place on it. Our cross reminds us of our love and devotion to God. Women love anything from a simple cross or the crucifix. There are some crosses that now have gemstones in them. You can now choose different lengths for the chain. If she has longer chains then you might want to get her one with a smaller chain. A lot of women like the layered look. She can wear a small gold chain that has nothing on it, and then also wear a longer chain that has a beautiful cross on it.

Another Christian jewelry item would be cross earrings. There are many sets of earrings with crosses from small studs to hanging crosses. If you don’t know if she has pierced ears or not then you might want to check that.

There are some Christian bracelets with crosses that are embeded in the bracelet and there are many other bracelets that have a Christian symbol on them too. Bracelets may contain a religious message engraved in them. There are some bracelets that have Christian charms made out of Christian symbols.

Why is Christian jewelry for your wife so very special? Christian jewelry is generally handed down from mother to daughter. Jewelry in general is one of he most handed down items around.

Christian jewelry reminds women of the love Jesus had for us as women.

Best Wishes to You
